According to the Daily Monitor, the Uganda Communications Commission(UCC) has suspended the registration of sim cards by refugees using attestation and cards due to too much fraud and criminal rates the commission is in the process of formulating stringent procedures with the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) on the validation of the Refugee Cards and Attestation letters to mitigate further SIM card registration fraud.
