MODERATOR In the recent peacekeepers patrol on the Yei-Juba road they confirmed to have seen the remnants of the attacks littering the roadside including vehicles that have been looted and torched and a Toyota land cruiser remains resting in a pile of ashes as evidence of the crime committed by the armed forces

MODERATOR One woman in Yei who had send here goods to Juba through the Yei- Juba highway in a passage vehicle confirmed to us that her goods didn’t reach Juba but were burnt together with the vehicle by gun men last week.

MODERATOR A motorcycle rider who traveled from Yei to Limbe through the Yei Juba road went missing for now four days without anyone knowing his whereabouts. Relatives and friends in Yei and those in the refugee camps believed he was kidnapped and he is no more.

MODERATOR A group of armed men along the Yei- Kaya highways in around Mugwo, Longamere, Alero terrorized civilians. Eye wittiness and a survivor who fled to Omugo 6 refugee settlement testified to have witnessed two youth dragged to an unknown locations, the burning down of huts and the subsequent execution of one person.
