Here is why -
An investigation committee established by the Rakhine State parliament to probe into terrorist attacks by Bengalis on 9 and 10 October in Maungtaw and Rathetaung townships submitted its initial findings to the State assembly on 27 December.
The report said the attacks were aimed at occupying Mayu district and declare Rohingya race, Eleven Media reported.
The investigation committee report said there are the moderates and extremist factions among Bengali (Rohingya people). The moderate are in favor for livening in Myanmar and try to increase birth rate of Rohingya women and try to dominate through their religious belief. While the extremist faction has contact with the foreign terrorist groups and they aim to occupy territory through terror attacks. The report was publish on 27 December on the Facebook page of Rakhine News.
The state level investigation committee was formed with 11 members on 24 October. The committee has visited to Buthitaung and Maungtaw townships on 25 and 26 October and to on 29 November to Rathetaung Township to assess the field situations.
