Here is why -
The state own media reported that ordinary people were kidnapped and killed in Rakhine State during recent weeks, but there has been no investigation into these incidents of killings.
The state media reported that Rohingya people who are serving as village administrator and those who are seen as close to the government were killed by terrorists in the aftermath of 9 October attack on the outposts of Myanmar security forces.
A state-own Myanma Alin newspaper reported that during 9 October 2016 to 1 February 2017, 13 innocent Rohingya people were killed and eight were missing. But there has been no arrest so far in connection with the killings. A statement issued by the State Counsellor Office on 19 December said 575 Rohingya people were arrested since 9 October attacks and nine died in custody.
