Here is why -
A senior monk, who is a member of a pro-Buddhist group Ma Ba Tha- the Myanmar acronym for the Association of Protection of the Race and Religion, said Rohingya people are like beasts, who can caused bloodshed of Myanmar people.
Ashin Wimalabi Wuntha (Nandala University) made the comment in an article published in the Aungzayyatu Journal published on 18 November. The article referred to an incident in sermon of Lord Buddha on a beast woman who caused harm to the people. The incident is included in the sermons on Zawtika Nipat, under a subtitle Taybutala.
The article refer Myanmar as a big palace, where beast like Rohingya infiltrated. Not only they came into Myanmar illegally they also tried to win citizenship rights to be able to dominate the Myanmar society. To gain such rights they are using the international organizations like the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic States (OIC), the article said.
The author went on to say that if Myanmar people are in ignorant to the threat of the beasts they will be eaten away. So the author suggested no rights should be granted to Rohingyas (Bengalis).
